Steve is a life long Iowan and successful businessman from Cedar Rapids.

He is married with 4 children and 6 grandchildren.

His company “International Procurement Services, Inc.” (IPS, Inc.), founded in 1992, was originally formed to assist the manufacturing industry in obtaining machined, fabricated and casting components necessary for manufacturing their machinery.

His company has been successful in reducing cost (30-500%) and improving the quality and delivery of the items he furnishes his customers.

Steve’s corporate principles are simple and straight forward.
Provide customers with quality and value while striving to significantly reducing costs.
Identify those components being manufactured in other countries and locate American sources with the ability to provide them domestically.
Work with American companies specifically Iowans to keep good paying manufacturing jobs from leaving our country.
